Authorities have identified the man whose body was found on a highway median near Shakopee last Thursday.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is still looking into the death of 22-year-old Ryan Hobot.
The body was identified Sunday by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office, who did not initially release details of Hobot's death.
According to reports, a car that belonged to Hobot crashed on Wednesday in the highway 169 median near Canterbury Road.
Not long after, another vehicle struck the car and witnesses say they saw two people running from the scene.
Hobot's body was found the next day.
