Authorities have not released the identity of the body that was pulled from the Mississippi River in Minneapolis on Sunday.
Hennepin County sheriffs deputies and Minneapolis fire crews were called to the river near the Franklin Avenue bridge around 12:15 p.m. for the recovery.
Sheriff Dave Hutchinson says that the ice and river conditions presented some challenges for first responders.
It reportedly took more than two hours to bring the body to shore.
It's not known how the person died.
