Metro Transit schedules not yet affected by outbreak

Officials with Metro Transit say they are stepping up cleaning efforts in all vehicles.  

Instead of disinfecting buses, trains, and public facilities once a month, officials say cleaning crews will be working three times a week.

Other bus companies are changing air filters and adding hand sanitizer in their vehicle fleets.  

It's not known how much the coronovirus outbreak is affecting bus ridership in the Twin Cities, and schedules have not been changed.
