COVID-19 cases and deaths rose again Saturday in Minnesota as the Minnesota Department of Health reported 91 new cases and 7 additional deaths. In total, Minnesota now has 1,427 COVID-19 cases and 64 people have died from the virus.
The latest deaths involved four people in their 90s, three of which were residents of Hennepin County. Four of the seven newly reported deaths were individuals in their 80s.
Saturday's report came on the heels of the Minnesota Department of Health detailing the state's latest modeling data, which compared mortality rates for different courses of action.
340 total COVID-19 cases have been hospitalized to date and 145 remained hospitalized as of today, with 69 in intensive care.
The latest county to report its first confirmed case is Benton County, which is just northeast of Saint Cloud.

35,404 COVID-19 tests have been completed in Minnesota, 9,292 by the MDH Public Health Lab, and 26,112 by external labs.
