
St. Paul police are investigating a Sunday evening shooting that left two people injured, including a 6-year-old girl.
It happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Maria Ave., not far from the campus of Metropolitan State University.
Police say the little girl was struck in the back of the head and is hospitalized with what they say is a "brain bleed."
The other victim, a 36-year-old woman, was hit in the forearm but is expected to be ok.
Police say details remain sketchy as to whether the two were in a moving vehicle or if they were parked.
There is no one in custody and names of the victims are not released.
