The 36-year-old man who was arrested faces charges that include making terroristic threats, child endangerment, and false imprisonment.

The man who police say was not armed remains in custody, and video on Twitter show what appears to be a police officer carrying a small child from the home.

The standoff started before noon on Thursday after officers responded to a dispute between a woman and a man who had a restraining order against him.

The woman and two children were let out before the man barricaded himself inside with two other children, ages 4 and 13.

Police say the 13-year-old was allowed to leave the mobile home late last night.

The mobile home park was evacuated and law enforcement personnel tried to negotiate with the man before going inside and making the arrest.

Police the man’s only request was that they go away.

Because of hot conditions throughout the day, police say they had to rotate teams of officers in and out of the area throughout the standoff.

According to a statement, more than a dozen officers were treated for heat-related ailments at the scene, while at least three were hospitalized.
