The Chisago County Sherriff's department have arrested the man who they believe took a six-month-old child from his mother Thursday afternoon.
Police say that the baby boy and his mother were found safe in White Bear Lake.
37-year-old Ben Tietz, who the woman claims assaulted her, was arrested with help from the Ramsey County sheriff's department.
The woman told officers she was assaulted in a vehicle on Interstate 35 near the town of Wyoming, and again in the gas station bathroom.
Authorities say Tietz is the non-custodial father of the little boy.
