August 31, 2020 After moing some fall sports to next spring, the small Minnesota school conference now says all althetic competitions will be postponed until January over continued concerns over COVID-19.
The decision means that the start of winter sports like hockey and basketball will be delayed until January.
Earlier this summer, the MIAC announced it was moving higher-risk fall sports to spring of 2021. Now, other sports that were deemed lower-risk, like golf and tennis, will also be pushed to next year.
