Minnesota's coronavirus death toll is now at 29, while the number of laboratory-confirmed cases is nearing the 1,000 mark.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health on Sunday, there are now 935 cases in the state, a rise of 70 from Saturday's reported total.
The daily update also shows 451 people in Minnesota who have recovered from the sickness.
There are still 106 people hospitalized in Minnesota because of the coronavirus, 48 of them in intensive care.
Sixty of Minnesota's 87 counties are now reporting at least one confirmed coronavirus case.
Counties reporting cases for the first time on Sunday are Houston and Pipestone.
There have been 26,777 cases tested in Minnesota, one-third of them in the state health department's Public Health Lab and the rest in external laboratories.
Monday, April 6, is one month since the first confirmed case of coronavirus was reported in Minnesota, with the state's first death related to the outbreak reported on March 21.
