Under what used to be considered "usual circumstances" the Minnesota Twins would have played 16 games inside Target Field during the 2020 MLB season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, those games, along with their road games, have all been postponed with no make-up date in sight.
Tuesday, Major League Baseball announced that they would let teams decide how to handle tickets to postponed games. The announcement opens up the possibility for refunds, which would be a first for any major sports league in the United States during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Minnesota Twins have postponed the first 30 of their 162 total games, including Tuesday's schedule road contest against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
