Morneau elected to Twins Hall of Fame

The Twins are adding Justin Morneau to its Hall of Fame.

Morneau spent 11 of his 14 seasons in Minnesota, winning the AL MVP in 2006 and going to four straight All-Star Games. 

He's third in team history in home runs with 221, and second at games played at first base.

For the past two seasons he's been a special assistant to baseball operations while broadcasting Twins games on TV.

The on-field ceremony will be Saturday, May 23.
