New freshman class moves in at the U of M Twin Cities campus

It's Move-In Day for freshman and first-year students at the University of Minnesota's Twin Cities campus.

All others are due on campus by the end of the week.

There are 6,200 freshmen and nearly 2,000 transfers scheduled to move into their new dorms by the end of Tuesday.

Wednesday starts the 12th annual U of M Welcome Week, and the first since Joan Gabel became the school's new president.
