Norm Coleman had some good news to share about his fight with caner today during an appearance on The Chad Hartman Show.

"I had a clean pet scan on the day before Thanksgiving, so for the Coleman family, it really was  a literal Thanksgiving. Thank you, God. Thanks for all the prayers. Thanks for all the support from everybody. And we had a smile on our face in the Coleman household this Thanksgiving after that clean scan," he said.

Coleman is receiving immunotherapy treatment via infusions. He described it as being a better experience than the other kind of treatment he's received  — surgery, chemo and radiation. "The nice thing about immunotherapy is I get it every three weeks, like going to a sun tan parlor," he said.

Listen to the full discussion here, in which Hartman and Coleman talk politics, including his thoughts on the impeachment hearings and his support of Sen. Amy Klobuchar's presidential campaign.
