Odorizzi accepts qualifying offer from Twins

Jake Odorizzi will be staying with the Twins.  The team has confirmed that the right-handed starter has accepted a qualifying offer.

The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal reported the deal before the Twins confirmed it.

The deal is reportedly worth $17.8 million.

Odorizzi was a free agent after this past season, when he went 15-7 for the Twins and made the All-Star Game.
