Minnesota State Fair officials are not commenting on a lawsuit filed by a Hennepin County woman whose son suffered permanent kidney damage after contracting e. coli.
This comes after the state department of health traced an e. coli outbreak to the fair's Miracle of Birth Center.

According to court documents, Christina VonderHaar of Minnetrista says her son Thomas touched several types of animals when the visited the center during fair last August.
She says the boy, who was 5 years old at the time, became sick and was hospitalized in Minneapolis for nearly two weeks and was dianosed with the kidney damage.
Her lawsuit in Ramsey County claims state fair operators were negligent.
Fair officials say they are discussing increased safety measures for the Miracle of Birth Center.
