From specialized First Avenue jerseys, bubbleheads paying tribute to the iconic television show Friends, to a day honoring Sesame Street, the Minnesota Twins aren't holding back with their theme nights for the 2020 season.
The club announced the first 30 scheduled theme nights for the 2020 regular season at Target Field. Theme night items are available exclusively with the purchase of a special theme night package. Theme night packages are limited and expected to sell out.
Highlighting a trio of new theme nights is First Avenue Night on July 28. The Twins will join their downtown Minneapolis neighbor in celebrating the 50th anniversary of this famed music venue. Fans who purchase this theme night package will receive a co-branded First Avenue/Twins jersey.
Kids of all ages will enjoy the debut of Sesame Street Day on April 26. That day's giveaway is a Twins t-shirt created in the spirit of the long-running show, while the Twins will be there for you on the first-ever Friends Night on September 4 featuring a Friends-themed T.C. bubblehead.
Returning theme nights for the 2020 Minnesota Twins season at Target Field include games celebrating nine local colleges and universities with St. Cloud State University making its Target Field debut on April 17.
The #OneMN series bringing the Twins together with the Minnesota Lynx, Timberwolves, United, Vikings and Wild; pop culture gatherings for Star Wars, the Grateful Dead and Margaritaville; the Wine, Women and Baseball series; and, fundraising efforts on Cancer Awareness Night and Love Your Melon Night.
