The Twins are going back to their roots as they mark the team's 60th year in Minnesota.

Team officials Monday unveiled the Twins' baby-blue alternate uniforms for the 2020 season.

They'll look just like what the Twins wore on the road from 1973 through 1986.

This time, the blues will be worn by the Twins at home and away from Target Field.

“No uniform in the history of Minnesota Twins baseball drives more fan engagement than the old-school baby blues,” Twins President and CEO Dave St. Peter said. “With that popularity in mind, we are excited to bring this uniform back as part of our 60th Season Celebration. It’s going to be fun to watch the 2020 Twins wearing the same look as Twins legends from the 1970s and 1980s.”

The 60th season patch is also going on the right side of every Twins cap worn during the upcoming year.

In addition, the left sleeve of all Twins uniforms in 2020 will have the popular Minnie and Paul logo following a one-year absence.
