A state panel has ruled that Fifth District Congresswoman Ilhan Omar must reimburse her own campaign account and pay a fine for violating state campaign finance rules.
The violations date back to when Omar was a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives.

Omar says she'sll comply with the findings and will repay $3,469.23 to her campaign fund.
She also agreed to pay a $500 civil penalty.
