No arrests in Friday night homicide in Minneapolis

One person is dead following a shooting late Friday night in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis.

Police were called to the scene on the 300 block of Cedar Avenue.

Two people who were shot were in an ambulance that was flagged down on Riverside Avenue, with one of them dead. 

The other was taken to HCMC, where authorities reported a third person from the shooting arrived later.

There are no names reported, and no arrests.  

Police are trying to find out what led to the shooting.

Members of the Somali community who live in the neighborhood say the victim was a teenager.
