If there was one theme of last night’s Democratic Debate in Nevada, it was women candidates punching back, and landing some devastating blows of their own. In the eyes of CNN analyst and former Prince confidante Van Jones, Michael Bloomberg’s candidacy just hit an iceberg named Elizabeth Warren.
And then there was Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Pete Buttigieg. We already knew from the past debates that Klobuchar does not seem to care much for the mayor of South Bend, who she seems to see as an overly entitled man who is out of his depth. The two were positioned next to each other Wednesday night, and Buttigieg went on the offensive, at one point hitting Klobuchar for forgetting the name of the president of Mexico and for voting to confirm judges nominated by President Trump.
More reacts:
Honestly, the bravest thing Pete has ever done is stand right next to Amy Klobuchar and start speaking Spanish while criticizing her. I screamed and ran out of the living room.

February 20, 2020 frankly, we're wasting our time investing in renewable energy because there is no fuel source purer or more plentiful than amy klobuchar's visceral hatred for pete

February 20, 2020 It's been clear for a while that Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar are on each other's nerves. The bad vibes burst open big time Wednesday night: https://t.co/d1vjJmZSfn

February 20, 2020 Amy Klobuchar’s exchanges with Pete Buttigieg remind me of every experienced, professional woman who is fed up with a less experienced man being up for the same promotion. #DemDebate

February 20, 2020 wish I loved anything as much as Amy Klobuchar loves reminding Pete Buttigieg that he has not won statewide
