Now that winter is (mostly) behind us, time to start looking at Minnesota's second season: Road Construction.
There are other closures over the next two weeks as well. Those closures are:
10 p.m. Wed, April 24 through 5 a.m. Thu, April 25- EB I-94 will be closed between I-394 and I-35W
10 p.m. Thu, April 25 through 5 a.m. Fri, April 26
- EB I-94 will be closed between I-394 and I-35W
Mon, April 29 and Tue, April 30; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
- 31st St. will be closed between 1st Ave. and 2nd Ave.
10 p.m. Mon, April 29 through 5 a.m. Tue, April 30
- EB I-94 will be closed between I-394 and I-35W
10 p.m. Thu, May 2 through 5 a.m. Fri, May 3
- WB I-94 will be closed between I-35W and I-394
Bridge closures
Wed, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.- 1st Ave. bridge over I-94 is closed
10 p.m. Thu, April 25 through 2 a.m. Fri, April 26
- 1st Ave. bridge over I-94 is closed
Trail closures
Wed, May 1 from 6 a.m. to noon- Midtown Greenway between Nicollet Ave. and 5th Ave. is closed
Fri, May 3, Mon, May 6 and Tue, May 7 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Midtown Greenway between Nicollet Ave. and 5th Ave. is closed
- WB Bicycle and Pedestrian Detour: NB 5th Ave. to WB 26th St. and SB Nicollet Ave. to the Midtown Greenway entrance
- EB Bicycle and Pedestrian Detour: NB Nicollet Ave. to EB 28th St. to NB 1st Ave. to EB 26th St. and SB 5th Ave.
The project is expected to be fully completed by October 2020.
