House Republicans blocked the 2-billion dollar bill over the weekend with House Minority Leader Kurt Daudt saying the negotiations weren't substantive, in part because lawmakers expected to be back for a special session. The bonding bill will now be considered during a special session on June 12th, the day Walz's emergency powers expire.
