We've all got cabin fever. We're all sick of February's record-breaking snow fall. Why not make a game of it?

St. Paul mayor Melvin Carter thought the same thing when he issued this challenge to his Twin Cities neighbors, surrounded by menacing-looking city council members and staff brandishing snow balls:

ATTENTION: Mayor @Jacob_Frey and the @CityMinneapolis City Council, We, the elected officials of the @cityofsaintpaul do hereby officially challenge you to a snowball fight this Sunday, February 24 at 1:00 PM at McMurray Field in Saint Paul. Assemble your crew! #BoldNorth pic.twitter.com/Np0emKrHWg

Feb. 24 is the date of the challenge, which was accepted by Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, casually reading a book in the snow.
