Grand Old Day is back on.
In a Facebook posting, the organizers of the annual event along St. Paul's iconic avenue say they've received an outpouring of support from local businesses, the city, and regular citizens.
It was just last week when the Grand Avenue Business Association announced that the one-day festival was being cancelled this year.
A Go-Fund-Me effort called Grand Old Day Anyway was launched to raise money to have the event.
Grand Old Day will be held on the originally scheduled date of June 2nd.
