The Minnesota Vikings will induct former tight end Steve Jordan in the club’s Ring of Honor.

Jordan was drafted by the team in 1982 and played under four head coaches in his 13 seasons, from Bud Grant to Dennis Green.  He went to 6 Pro Bowls, won 3 NFC Central titles and made six playoff appearances, catching 498 passes in his career. He retired from the game in 1994.

Jordan's son, Cameron Jordan, is a defensive end for the New Orleans Saints.  He, along with his young son, sent his congratulations to his dad.
