The Twins have postponed Friday night's game against the Detroit Tigers at Target Field due to the late-season winter weather that has descended on Minnesota.  The game will be made up on May 11th, as part of a day/night doubleheader.  Game one will be at 1:10pm as scheduled with the made-up game at 7:10pm.

According to the Twins weather postponement policy, fans holding tickets to the postponed game should keep their tickets as they will be required for admission into the rescheduled game. Fans who wish to exchange their tickets for another game must bring the tickets to the Target Field Box Office no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the rescheduled game. Tickets returned any later than 48 hours prior to the start of the rescheduled game will be considered invalid.

Both games Saturday and Sunday against the Tigers are expected to be played as scheduled.

Friday night's postponement brings back memories of last April, when a Twins series againt the White Sox ended with the postponement of three games of the four-game series after almost 15 inches of snow fell at MSP.  While this snowstorm hasn't been quite as historic, it will hang around long enough to affect the first game of this three-game series.
