Kyle Rudolph was not at OTA’s with the Minnesota Vikings today.
Before reckless speculation and trade rumors begin, take a deep breath.
The two-time pro-bowl tight end was excused from practices today to participate in the annual Nationwide Memorial golf invitational — marking his debut appearance in the event.
Just touched down back in my home state of Ohio! Im so excited and humbled to take part in all the @Nationwide events today and tomorrow, starting with our visit to @nationwidekids!!

May 28, 2019 The Vikings, however, did invest a second-round draft pick in Irv Smith Jr., a second-team All-SEC tight end from Alabama.
Reporting live from Eagan, MN. on behalf of News Talk 830 WCCO, former Vikings general manager Jeff Diamond chatted with Smith Jr. following practice.
Smith Jr. left Alabama after recording 10 career touchdowns and 838 yards in just 24 games played. He was the third tight end drafted in 2019.
