High winds are the problem after a night of steady snow

You could say the predicted weekend snow storm was delayed by rain.

All that rainfall during the daylight hours kept the Twin Cities snow-free until the sun went down Saturday night.


Sunday brings windy conditions, with gusts of about 40 miles per hour creating blowing snow and drifts, coupled with slick roads, that'll make it tricky to drive.
