Gersson Rosas was introduced Monday as the Timberwolves' new president of basketball operations.
"You were understanding from top to bottom that this organization is going to be united, it's collaborative, and it has a lot of different arms and legs that are going to be able to impact this market," said Rosas in downtown Minneapolis, referring to what he learned from Wolves ownership and management during the interview process.
"I see an organization, top to bottom, organization-wise, staff-wise, there's a lot of value here," he said."The mandate from Glen is to build an organization that's world class. That's going to be our focus. I'm excited."
Rosas pointed the team has resources in place to improve.
The Timberwolves have been without a president of basketball operations since the firing of Tom Thibodeau in January.
