Gallery: Thousands hit the streets for Twin Cities Marathon

He did it again.
Dominic Ondoro of Kenya finished first in the 38th annual Twin Cities Marathon.
Ondoro's official time was 2:12:23, about four minutes of the course record he set in 2016.
The native of Kenya also holds the course record in Garndma's Marathon, which is run every spring along Lake Superior's north shore in Minnesota from Two Harbors to Duluth.
This is the fourth time Ondoro has won the Twin Cities Marathon after winning three in a row from 2015-17.
American Julia Kohnen took first in the women's division with a time of 2:31:39.
It's the first time Kohnen has won the Twin Cities Marathon.
More than 10,000 people made their way from US Bank Stadium to the state capitol building in downtown St. Paul.
The companion ten-mile race took place earlier Sunday morning.
Running conditions were perfect, with clearing skies, some wind and temps in the high 40's.
The marathon started under cloudy skies, with many crossing the finish line in bright sunshine.
