Take a look at The Filmore, Minneapolis's newest music venue

The newest music venue in Minneapolis opens Wednesday night.
Brandi Carlile's first three shows at the 1850 capacity Fillmore Music Hall in the North Loop are sold out.
Live Nation's Fillmore franchise is intended to harken back to the original in San Francisco that featured Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin.
"When you hear Fillmore, you hear rock 'n roll, you think music, Santana, all those great '70s artists," Ron Bension, president of Live Nation Clubs and Theatres, said.
Bension says the Fillmore features premium sound and sight lines, plus a mezzanine, lounge and burger bar.
"We'll be able to bring bands that otherwise would have avoided the market, couldn't find a venue the right size," Benison said. "I think it's great for the bands, it's great for the fans and I think it's great for Minneapolis."
