You won't believe how Sid Hartman stole the show at Minnesota Hospital
If you've ever wanted to hear a 99-year-old man who is an institution in Minnesota broadcasting repeatedly exclaim the word generally used to describe copulation, this year's episode of Minnesota Hospital may just be for you.
We'd don't want to give any more away, but Sid Hartman's role in the long-running radio drama written by News Talk 830 WCCO host Dave Lee was a highlight of this year's performance at the State Fair. Hartman's comedic timing and delivery remain spot on. (Update: It remained so in the second performance at this year's state fair, listen here).
Lee and a cast perform the comedic melodrama every year at the fair at the station booth. This year's ensemble included Tim Russell, Mike Lynch, Liz Collin, Mike Max, Adam Carter and the aforementioned Hartman.
