The Minnesota Wild won't be returning to the ice anytime soon.

After having three games postponed due to a COVID outbreak, the NHL confirmed today that the Wild's next two games will also be postponed.

Wild GM Bill Guerin says the virus is making it's way through the team.

Guerin says at least nine players and one staff member have tested positive for COVID. He says the cases seem to be mild.

"The players that have gotten it seem to be having minor symptoms, nothing too crazy. Achiness, or loss of taste or smell, things like that. The most important things is that everyone gets out on the other side ok."

At this point, the next scheduled game for the Wild will be February 16th in Los Angeles.
