The old saying at the start of a baseball season is "hope springs eternal."
That saying has new meaning this year as fans will be welcomed back to ballparks. The Twins begin their season Thursday afternoon in Milwaukee.
"Our team is set, we're feeling pretty good," said Twins spokesman Dustin Morse. He says even though the Twins open on the road - the team is excited to play in front of people again.
"Our fans have been so supportive, and it's going to be great. I know the players have talked about it constantly on how much the fans mean to this game and to them. It will be great to hear them at Target Field."
The Twins will allow 10-thousand 10,000 fans into Target Field starting with the home opener on April 8th. American Family Field, formerly Miller Park, will allow 25% capacity for Brewers home games.
Thursday's game will be heard on WCCO Radio and on the Audacy app.
