The Twins game that was called off Monday in the aftermath of the Daunte Wright police shooting death is rescheduled for Wednesday as part of a straight doubleheader at Target Field.
Wednesday's first game against the Red Sox starts at 1:10 p.m. with the second game coming shortly after the opener ends.
Following 2021 policy, the straight doubleheader features two seven-inning games.
Fans holding tickets for Wednesday’s originally-scheduled 1:10 p.m. game will receive admission to both games of the straight doubleheader.
Twins season ticket holders with seats for Monday’s postponed game will receive credit back on their account.
Single-game buyers holding tickets purchased directly from the Minnesota Twins for Monday’s postponed contest will also receive credit, which can be used for a future 2021 home game.
Additionally, those fans holding tickets for Monday’s postponed game will receive two complementary tickets to a future weekday value or select home game during the 2021 season.
The Twins and Red Sox restart their four-game series Wednesday afternoon.
This week marks the only time the Red Sox come to Minnesota this season, all but making the doubleheader necessary to maintain the 162-game schedule for both teams.
