The Twins head to our neighbors to the east for their second series of the 2024 season. It's Twins and Brewers for a quick two-game set in Milwaukee Tuesday and Wednesday.
Both teams are off to good starts. The Minnesota Twins (2-1) took two of three in Kansas City while the Milwaukee Brewers (3-0) swept the New York Mets to open the season.
PITCHING PROBABLES: Twins: Louie Varland (0-0); Brewers: Jakob Junis (0-0)
Varland will be in the starting rotation for the Twins after some offseason unknowns about what his role with the team would be. Anthony DeSclafani was penciled in as a starter but an elbow injury has him on the injured list to start the year. He may be out for the season if the team opts for surgery.
Varland went 4-3 with a 4.63 ERA in 2023.
Game two will feature starters Chris Paddack for the Twins, and Joe Ross for the Brewers.
