The Minnesota Twins made a handful of roster moves on Monday and will get a look at one of their top prospects.

Jose Miranda, the team's third highest-rated prospect (95th in all of Major League Baseball), will join the club in Baltimore as they begin a four-game series against the Orioles. The infielder started the season at Triple-A St. Paul and was hitting .256 with two home runs and 10 RBI. As a fun note, Miranda is the cousin of "Hamilton" creator Lin Manuel Miranda.

The Twins also recalled left-handed pitcher Jovani Moran from St. Paul. Moran who spent time in the big leagues last season, has appeared in six games for the Saints this season.

To make room for Miranda and Moran along with getting to the MLB roster standard of 26 players, the team placed sluggers Miguel Sanó and Kyle Garlick on the 10-day IL. They also optioned catcher Jośe Godoy and pitcher Cole Sands to Triple-A St. Paul.
