Did you go to the Twins home opener? Did you sit through the rain, the cold - oh, and the power outage?
The Twins are offering up a do-over for fans, and providing complementary tickets to next Friday's game against Cincinnati for anyone who endured that messy start.
“Twins fans showed what true passion looks like on April 3,” said Twins Chairman and CEO Tom Pohlad. “While their pregame experience was disrupted, their energy and support never wavered. Our fans made a thrilling Home Opener win one to remember, and we’re excited to welcome them back to Target Field – on us – next Friday night as we bring that Opening Day spirit back to the ballpark.”
Anyone who bought tickets to the opener will get an email with the free seats offer.
The April 17th game against the Reds also includes pre-game happy hour and the first post-game fireworks show of the season.
The announced attendance for the home opener at Target Field was just over 36,000.
