Tuesday night’s scheduled game between the Orioles and Minnesota Twins has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Baltimore area.
The game will be made up as part of a traditional doubleheader Wednesday, May 14. Due to additional weather concerns for Wednesday, game one will now begin at 11:05 a.m. CT, followed by game two approximately 35 minutes after the first game concludes.
A slow-moving storm system has produced widespread heavy showers and thunderstorms with excessive rainfall and flooding across the Mid-Atlantic region early this week. Despite the games moving to Wednesday, there’s still a significant chance of weather being an issue for those games, and even for Thursday’s scheduled game.
The Twins are currently on an eight-game winning streak and swept the Orioles at Target Field this past week.
