They may have no fans in the stands during the playoffs, but part of the Twins' postseason history will be out there
Staring Monday, you can get your 2020 version of the Homer Hanky, white with red lettering, the Twins classic script, an outline of the state of Minnesota, complete with a house along the border with Iowa.
An emphasis on home, where the Twins will be for the opening round of the postseason.
The Homer Hanky tradition started in 1987 when the Twins handed out the white squares of cloth with red lettering, which fans waved enthusiastically all the way to the World Series championship.
The newest edition of the Homer Hanky, made by WinCraft in Winona, will be available at Target Field, CUB food stores, and the StarTribune's online store.
The 2020 Homer Hanky, like last year, is a 100 percent cotton terrycloth towel.
Before that, they were, well, handkerchiefs.

The Twins start the postseason on Tuesday when they host the first game of the best-of-three opening round series.
Saturday night's 7-3 win over the Reds assured that the Twins would be at Target Field to start the playoffs.
Following the first round, all baseball playoff games will be anchored.
Division Series and the LCS for the American League take place either in Los Angeles or San Diego. The National League playoffs are in Houston or Arlington, Texas.
