Twins center fielder Byron Buxton, who was put on the seven-day concussion injury list prior to Saturday's game in Milwaukee.

Buxton and shortstop Carlos Correa bumped heads in a scary collision during Thursday's win in Baltimore.

Correa was put on the IL Friday, while team officials continued to monitor Buxton until making the roster move.

Twins officials say a roster addition will be made Sunday to fill Buxton's spot.

Buxton has hit .261 (41-for-157) with five doubles, three triples, 10 home runs, 27 RBI, 11 walks, eight stolen bases, 33 runs scored and an .834 OPS in 41 games for Minnesota this season, including .313 (15-for-48) with a 1.018 OPS in 13 games in May.

There is no time frame for a return to action for either Buxton or Correa.

The Twins beat the Brewers 7-0 on Saturday to extend their winning streak to 13 games, the team's longest since 1991.
