Reports: Vikings, Hunter agree to restructured deal

According to reports, one of the biggest question marks in the Vikings off-season planning has been answered.

The Vikings will get their star defensive lineman back after restructuring his contract. According to Rapoport, Hunter will get money moved up in his deal and he will show up to minicamp this week for the team.

Hunter missed the 2020 season after undergoing neck surgery. According to Pro Football Focus, Hunter was the fifth best EDGE rusher in the NFL with 217 pressures from 2017-2019.

Rapoport also reports that Hunter will be owed an $18,000,000 roster bonus in 2022. The Vikings could cut him before that bonus is awarded.
