The Vikings will be without one of the top players in the NFL for the next month.
Wide receiver Justin Jefferson suffered a hamstring injury during the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to Kansas City, and multiple reports indicate it's severe enough that Jefferson will miss the next four games.
After that, team doctors will evaluate the Pro Bowler to determine if he can return to the field.
The games JJ will miss are against the Bears, 49ers, Packers, and Falcons.
The Vikings go into Sunday's game in Chicago with one win and four losses.
Jefferson has 36 catches for 571 yards and three touchdowns so far this season, his fourth in the NFL.
The Vikings made Jefferson the 22nd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Louisiana State.
Last year, he was voted the league's offensive player of the year, leading the NFL in catches and reception yards while scoring nine total touchdowns.
