Timberwolves guard Malik Beasley faces charges for allegedly using a rifle to threaten a family who was on a Parade of Homes tour last month.
According to the Hennepin County Attorney, a couple and their 13-year old child were looking at houses in Plymouth on the afternoon of September 26th. They say Beasley knocked on the window of their SUV and then pointed a rifle at them, telling them to get off his property.
Plymouth Police say they showed up to Beasley's home and found three firearms, including a rifle. They also say they found nearly two pounds of marijuana in Beasley's home.
The 23-year old Beasley is charged with felony threats of violence and drug possession. His wife, 23-year old Montana Yao, is also charged with drug possession.
The Timberwolves issued a statement on Thursday afternoon regarding the charges against Beasley.
