A shooting in a busy part of downtown Minneapolis late Tuesday night left one man dead and three others injured.

It happened around 11:40 p.m. at Bar Zia on the 400 block of 4th Street South, just in between Minneapolis City Hall and U.S. Bank Stadium.

Police say an altercation led to gunfire and that a 21-year-old died at the scene. According to responding MPD officers, a large, unruly crowd was involved in "physical altercations" at the scene.

A second man, and two women, suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.

One person was arrested for obstruction, but so far no arrests have been made related to the shooting itself.
