Three Minnesotans have been charged for their role in the January 6 attack at the U.S. Capitol.
Kenneth Fuller, 44, and Caleb Fuller, 20, both of Cleveland, Minnesota, along with Nicholas Fuller, 40, of Mapleton, Minnesota, were charged last week according to a news release from the United States Department of Justice.
Caleb Fuller is the son of Kenneth Fuller. Nicholas Fuller is Kenneth Fuller's borther.
All three face one felony count of obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder, misdemeanor counts of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, and disorderly conduct in a restricted building or grounds.
According to the criminal complaint, each of the three men were seen on numerous police-worn body cameras in-front of police lines along the west plaza at the U.S. Capitol. In one of the videos, Kenneth Fuller can allegedly be heard saying, “Hey guys, they’re getting ready to push! They’re getting ready to push guys!” as police instructed the crowd in front of them to get back.
The FBI reviewed several tips, social media posts, and officer body camera footage during the investigation. The Brown County Sheriff's Office notified the FBI that a tipster shared a photo with them showing all three men trespassed on U.S. Capitol grounds on January 6, 2021.
According to the DOJ, more than 1,000 people from nearly all 50 states have been arrested for crimes related to the breach of the U.S. Capitol.
Nearly 350 individuals charged with assaulting or impeding law enforcement.
