The "No Kings Nationwide Day of Action" is set to take place this Saturday October 17th.
It will be the fourth nationwide No Kings rally the most recent event since the one in March of this year when Bruce Springstein played in front of thousands of people at the Minnesota State Capitol
Organizers say the event continues to astound them, including Lisa Herbes with Indivisible Twin Cities.
"It's amazing," says Herbes, "it really is kind of overwhelming especially for those of us that are organizing these events."
She says this year it's less about protesting against the administration and more about getting people to vote early.
"Some people who are maybe vulnerable to some of the activities that have been going on especially with ICE, are maybe afraid to go to the polls."
This year the event will be held at the Commons, and will include live music, food trucks, and voting information sharing, the rally portion of the event starts at 2 o'clock that Saturday.
Last year Minnesota served as the central hub for a day of action that included more than 3,100 events and millions of participants across all 50 states and international locations.
This event is expected to be extremely well attended but no word yet on actual attendance figures.
