Friday the Lakeville Police Department issued an Amber Alert trying to locate a missing 3-year old boy who was taken from his residence in Lakeville. After 3:00 Friday afternoon that alert was cancelled after the boy was found safe.
Leon Ramsarran, a 3-foot tall, 35-40 pound light-skinned Black boy with very short brown hair and brown eyes went missing. He was wearing black sweat pants, a black long sleeved shirt with three black buttons on top, dark gray or black jacket with tan fur on the hood, tan and black boots.
Lakeville Police say they determined that the boy was taken from an apartment by an adult family member. The child's father had called police as this exchange was unplanned and there was concern for the child.
The circumstances around the incident are still being investigated and there are no criminal charges at this time.
