The Saint Peter Police Department says that officer was taken to a medical facility, but has not provided any additional updates on the officer's condition.
It happened around 8:00 p.m. while officers responded to an incident on the 2100 block of Bunker Lane. That shelter in place was issued at 10:15 p.m. for the city's Washington Terrace neighborhood. It was lifted 15 minutes later, with police saying just before 11:00 p.m. that the incident was over.
