A Benton County, Minnesota man has been found guilty of multiple felonies after a shooting in 2023 left several law enforcement officers injured.

A jury found Carl Holmberg guilty of 15 felonies including seven counts of first degree attempted murder of a police officer.

The charges stem from an October 2023 shooting where court documents say that Holmberg hurt five members of the Sherburne County Drug Task Force.

Officers were at his home near Princton, Minnesota to serve a search warrant. But when they entered the home, Holmberg started shooting at them.

Holmberg is expected to be sentenced on October 31.
